Meet Candace Renee...

Candace Renee Rice is best known as the fun-loving, praying, cast member of the hit reality TV series, MTV's Floribama Shore. Floribama Shore made network history debuting as the highest rated MTV show premiere the network had seen in 4 years; and in its season peaks, was neck to neck with Keeping Up with the Kardashians in Nielsen ratings report.

Candace Renee stunned viewers as the first black woman on MTV to rock a 4c textured afro in addition to breaking stereotypes attached to American black women in the reality tv space as the voice of reason, God-fearing, nurturing intellect in the rambunctious party house.

Before her time in the national television space, Candace majored in journalism and communications at University of Memphis and got her start in the mass media/communications space as a witty radio personality, model, and on-camera host for various platforms including Revolt TV; and hosted sit down interviews with stars such as David Banner, Love & Hip Hop cast, cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Judge Joe Brown, Jerry Springer, members of the cast of Marvel's Black Panther and a long list of others.

She is also a cosmetic formulator and has a passion for formulating natural products that helps improve the health of those suffering from skincare issues tied to inflammation, hyperpigmentation, eczema, psoriasis, and chronically dry skin. She crushes misinformation about the "clean beauty" industry through the development of her self formulated, hand packaged, clean beauty company, Butter Me Babe (@buttermebabe).

Candace has established a growing force in the holistic beauty space by hand crafting and curating over 50+ natural formulas with potent raw ingredients ethnically sourced from other small to medium American suppliers, crafters, and farmers.

Candace exudes dynamic grace, authenticity, solid substance and a balance of witty in her ferociously positive energy and voice through her social media; and the world has been responding. Her son, Maxwell, who was born at 24 weeks (1 lb. 8 oz) with underdeveloped lungs, had a long term NICU stay and it has garnered so much online attention; and she continuously shares his story of his autism diagnosis, battling HG (Hyperemesis gravidarum) during pregnancy, and her testimony of faith and endurance in her unique journey in motherhood.

She isn’t just the big haired, praying Southern belle from MTV; but she’s a multi dimensional content host/interviewer, humanitarian, actress, entrepreneur, content creator, an encouraging voice in a world filled with negative influences, and most importantly; a dedicated mom.

MTV's Floribama Shore is currently available on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Paramount+.
